About the Conference

What is Black Hat USA 2026?

Black Hat USA 2026 is the world's most technically rigorous cybersecurity conference, running August 1-6, 2026 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. Organized by Informa Tech and founded in 1997, it draws over 15,000 security professionals from more than 100 countries each year.

The conference runs in two formats. Trainings (August 1-4) are multi-day hands-on courses taught by practitioners covering exploit development, red team operations, cloud penetration testing, and detection engineering. Briefings (August 5-6) are peer-reviewed 50-minute research presentations where new vulnerabilities, threat actor techniques, and offensive tools are disclosed publicly for the first time.

Supporting programs include Arsenal, an open-source tool demonstration area where researchers showcase new security tooling, and the Business Hall, a vendor expo spanning hundreds of security companies. A full-access Briefings pass is valued at over $2,495.
