Questions sponsors ask

Do you offer category exclusivity?
Yes. We run one sponsor per category per issue, so you won't appear next to a direct competitor. The Full Send and Partner packages include category blocking for their full duration.
Who writes the ad copy?
Both options work. You can provide copy and we'll polish it to fit our voice, or give us a brief and we write from scratch. Either way, nothing goes to subscribers without your explicit sign-off.
What does the performance report include?
Send time, delivered count, open rate, total opens, CTR, total clicks, click breakdown by link, and a device and geography summary. Delivered within 48 hours of each placement.
How far out do I need to book?
Most campaigns go live within 2 weeks of booking. We recommend booking 3-4 weeks out for preferred date selection. Rush slots (7-day turnaround) are sometimes available, just ask.
What is the cancellation policy?
We require 7 days notice before the scheduled send date for newsletter slots. Partner packages require 30 days notice. Campaigns cancelled after copy approval may be subject to a kill fee.
Can I sponsor a blog post without the dedicated email?
The Deep Dive article and dedicated email are sold as a package. The email is what drives the initial traffic that makes the article rank. We don't split them.
